Common Questions
What is a PAANI copper water bottle made from?
Copper is our main ingredient. The copper used in our products is over 99% pure and freshly made by hand. It's an amazing feeling to know that we are providing you with water bottles of high quality, as they undoubtedly will last much longer than anything else out there. Our bottles have no joints or seams and we also haven’t used any heavy metals during the production process, meaning it is toxicity-free.
It is essential that our products are as pure as possible, and to ensure this, we had this inspected by one of the world’s leading inspection companies, SGS. The results confirmed that our Paani Bottles passed all of the legal regulations.
Should I choose the 700ML or 900ML bottle?
Both bottles are the same pure copper, handcrafted the same way, and both come with the same eight grip sleeve colours. The only difference is capacity and height:
- 700ml — 20.5cm (H) x 7.5cm (W). The everyday carry, lighter in the hand and easier to slip into a bag or a bottle holder.
- 900ml — 25cm (H) x 7.5cm (W). More capacity, so fewer refills across a long day, at the desk or the gym.
Both share the same 7.5cm width and an internal BPA FREE plastic cap to avoid metal to metal contact.
Please note that grip sleeves are moulded for each size, so order the sleeve that matches the bottle you choose.
Can I change the grip sleeve colour?
Yes. We wanted to ensure that not only you get the wellness benefits from this Paani bottle but also have it aesthetically pleasing by introducing different coloured grip sleeves designed especially for your Paani bottle but also giving that extra grip and protection to when you’re on the go.

Can I use my PAANI bottle without a sleeve?
The Paani grip sleeves are designed and moulded specifically for our re-usable Paani copper water bottles. The silicone sleeves are there for better grip and protection during your daily use.
With every bottle purchase, you shall be given a complimentary Paani grip sleeve. If you know that you won’t be using it, simply choose the Natural Copper style.
Additional Paani grip sleeves can be purchased in different colours.
What drinks can I put in my copper bottle?
Yes. To avoid any negative effects of copper on your wellness, we recommend only storing still water in our Paani bottles. Milk or acidic liquids such as soda and juices could react with this precious metal and create unwanted compounds that will affect how you feel over time.

How should I clean my copper bottle?
The first time you use your Paani copper water bottle, it's important to give the inside a clean before use it, but also the same cleaning process once a week. All you require is to place the following ingredients INSIDE your Paani bottle:
- Distilled vinegar (3/4 table spoons)
- Sea salt (2 table spoons)
- Lukewarm water
Alternatively, if you do not have distilled vinegar then you can use citric acid or a fresh lemon with luke warm water.
For the exterior we recommend to rinse it under warm water only.
Our bottles are NOT dishwasher friendly and we DON'T recommend using any scrubs as this will damage the protective lacquer. Your grip sleeve on the other hand, is dishwasher-friendly.
We've made this process easy by providing a step-by-step video on how to do just that - see here!
