Can I Drink Anything Other Than Water From My Copper Cups?
We recommend using your Paani Copper Cups for still water only. Avoid acidic drinks such as juice, tea, coffee, or soda, as these can react with copper and affect both the taste and quality of the metal over time. These cups are made for pure, intentional hydration — not for hot or flavoured beverages.
Do I Need to Leave Water in the Cup Overnight Like the Bottle?
No — the cups are primarily designed for drinking water that’s already been stored in your Paani Copper Bottle for 4–8 hours. However, you can absolutely use them as your everyday drinking cups too. Whether you pour, sip, or share, they fit seamlessly into your wellness routine.
Why Does the Inside of My Cup Change Colour?
Over time, you might notice the interior darken or develop marks — this is called patina, a natural sign of pure copper reacting with water and air. It’s completely normal and safe. In fact, it’s how you know your Paani Cup is authentic. If you’d like to restore its shine, simply clean it using lukewarm water, sea salt, and half a lemon or vinegar once a week. Avoid using harsh scrubs, detergents, or dishwashers, as these can damage the protective lacquer or handcrafted finish.
Can I Use Tap Water in the PAANI Cups?
Absolutely. The copper used in Paani products is tested using UK tap water, but its natural purification properties work across various water sources. Whether your water comes from a filter, tap, or bottle — copper naturally enhances freshness while supporting mindful hydration.
