WHAT IS AYURVEDA?

Ayurveda is a system of traditional medicine native to the Indian subcontinent. It is also known as Ayurvedic medicine. The history of Ayurveda is thought to date back to around 6000 BC, making it one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world.

The early history of Ayurveda is closely linked to the Vedic period of Indian history. The Vedas are a collection of ancient texts that form the basis of Hinduism. They also contain some of the earliest references to medical practices and concepts.

Ayurveda developed and evolved over time, with contributions from various cultures and traditions. From the Vedic period, it absorbed concepts from
the Persians and Greeks. During the Gupta period, it assimilated ideas from Chinese medicine.

Ayurveda reached its peak of popularity during the medieval period. It was during this time that many of the classic texts on Ayurveda were written. The most famous of these is the Charaka Samhita, which was composed around the 2nd century CE.

DO YOU KNOW HOW EFFECTIVE THIS IS?

There is scientific research to support its effectiveness. Studies have shown that Ayurvedic treatments can be helpful for conditions like arthritis, asthma, anxiety, and even cancer. Of course, as with any form of medicine, Ayurveda is not a cure-for-all. But if you're looking for an alternative or complementary treatment option, it's definitely worth considering.

ONE OF THE MOST WELL KNOWN AYURVEDIC

How does our Paani Bottle fit in? According to practitioners, drinking water from a copper vessel can help to improve digestion, relieve joint pain, and reduce inflammation. Additionally, they believe that copper has antimicrobial properties that can help to purify the water and make it easier for the body to absorb. These are just some of the claimed benefits.
